St. Paul Sunday School Program
St. Paul Lutheran congregation has a strong commitment to serve children and their families. With that commitment in mind, we want to extend our sincere invitation to your child/children to be a part of our fine Sunday School program. St. Paul Lutheran Sunday School runs this program for children age 3 through the eighth grade every Sunday from September through May from 8:30a.m.-9:15a.m.
The younger children (age 3-Kindergarten) begin their day with devotions and singing. During this devotional period, the children present their offerings—a gift we give for God’s work because God gives us His best gifts. Following the devotion, the children go to their classes where the Bible stories, Bible truths, and lessons are carefully taught and special Bible verses are reviewed.
The older children (grades 1-8) go immediately to their respective classrooms. Each week the children learn Bible verses which they recite the following week. Again, these students begin their day with devotions and present their offerings to God for various missions. The older students too learn about God’s love, Bible stories, and Bible truths.
All of the Sunday School students at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church are involved in a Christmas program presented to the congregation. The students also sing God’s praises in church twice throughout the course of the year. They develop a wonderful relationship with God and nurture their faith in Jesus Christ. In the process, they learn from a great veteran staff of volunteers and make friends with other Christian children.
We are reminded of our Savior’s invitation—“Let the little children come unto Me” and “…feed My lambs.” We faithfully bring our children to Sunday School each week to learn of their Savior as God wants us to.
